Yeah, rails on a slick? Kinda redundant. I had that board; was heavy as hell. I think around this time Chet Thomas was on SC after quitting Public skateboards because he broke too many boards a day, and was tired of having to set up knew ones, as the board quality was so poor in those days. I knew people who would buy an everslick just because if you cracked your board, it'd still be rideable because of the slick ply.
Once Rocco and street skating took over the industry, NHS, SC and all their other board companies kind of fell off. None of them really had a solid identity or seemed very popular... at least not until the current Creature.
