The last days of G & S.
Thrasher posted Willy's part from Feasters the other day. I sort of forgot how amazing he was back then. Every trick is done moving fast and the landings are all solid with feet on the bolts. Willy made those sketchy pressure flip days look good.
Brian went on to better things at Planet Earth.
Willy's homie John took his picture while Grant Brittain took Brian's photo.

Feasters is so good. I love the half Cab late shove down the small gap at Carlsbad. Willy's tricks were so mind blowing (and still are). I had the VHS copy watched it repeatedly. On The End DVD they have his part in the extras.
As far as G & S, I never understood why they made wheels named HIV- and HIV+. They were in the 40mm range.

I had a G&S Willy board... I think it was his first pro model. It had a haunted house and a ghost on it iirc. Kinda flat.
Dude was amazing back then.
I think I remember the haunted house graphic.
Was there a Santos graphic where G & S recycled the Neil Blender scarecrow? I did a little searching online and couldn't find anything.
I guess it isn't really a scarecrow, top left corner.

I've known Willy since we were both in sixth grade. He's the same guy he's always been. I used to take a lot of skate videos and I've taken footage of a lot of pros. Willy has to be, BY FAR, the most consistent skater I've ever seen. You just have to follow him around and he lands 19 out of 20 tricks. This is not an exaggeration. It's sort of like Tony Hawk on vert. I've filmed other pros and spent all day only to get one or two (albeit, sick as hell) tricks.
... also, I think John Blenkle took Willy's picture.
