Danny built on what Salman Agah started with big switch ollies and nollies over things most people would have a hard time doing an ollie over regular. It's a little hard to tell, but he's wearing DC Clockers in this photo. I had a pair of those. They were a decent shoe. Unfortunately the Clocker sort of looked better in the ads than in real life. I'm thinking about having a week of old DC ads from when the team expanded to include the likes of Huf, Scott Johnston and Carl Shipman.

that DC idea is great. navy rudy's were my first real skate shoe unless you count simples.
Supa is so sick! One of the best switch ollies out there.
Good call on the old DC ads. Be super stoked to see a Howard 1 ad, that was one of my all time favorite skate shoes. The soles were gummy bear soft and would only last a week or so, but were great while they lasted.
The DC shoes run is a good idea. I'm also enjoying all the ads from 95/96, to me that was the time period of skating I wanted to know more about when I started to get better/more into it. I don't skate anymore, now I race slalom downhill on a Ripstick. I make trophies out of the door handles of abandoned refrigerators and give them to myself. But with that being said, I still like all the mid-90s ads.
I had just started skating when a friend of mine said his cousin was a "pro skater" and was coming to town with his family. A few days later I was watching my first skate video "treefort" given by the great Jeremy Deglopper.
DC Week--most excellent idea! And if you find enough good ones, maybe TWO weeks??
That nollie still gnarly by today's standards, at least mine. Amazing stuff as always!
