After watching Alex Perelson's part in Since Day One a few times, I've been on a Colin kick. There are some definite similarities between the lip tricks that Alex does and what Colin did way back in Questionable. One video reminds me of the other. I need to watch the Chocolate Tour again sometime soon.

I wonder why it's called a "pointer grind" and not a frontside crooked grind.
Interesting. I know pointer grind was used to describe crooked grinds in the early 1990s, but it had fallen out of favor by 1999.
I like the pointer grind terminology.
I think it has something to do with your foot pointing the grind to grind at an angle. I liked the K-grind terminology as well.
