5Boro turns twenty this year. The company was founded by Steve Rodriguez in 1996. Steve is a skateboarding lifer and doing all he can to promote and improve the NYC skate scene. He helped make the Brooklyn Banks into a legal spot for example. The team includes Jimmy McDonald, Willy Akers, Danny Falla, Joe Tookmanian, Rob Gonyon, Silvester Eduardo, Jordan Trahan, and a few others.

Willy is from Wilmington, Delaware. He is pro for 5Boro. Willy also rides for OJ Wheels, Independent, and Lacolombe Coffee Company.
