I never realized that Judd was on Capital. This would have been after he rode for Arsenal and before he was on Foundation. Being from Groton, Connecticut probably helped his cause a little. Although the assorted wheel companies that were run out of the Capital camp sponsored a ton of people from all over the country.

The Shorty's connection caught me by surprise (same distribution?).
I had noticed that when I put together a week of Capital a couple years ago. I am not sure on what the actual connection was. I figure all the guys in the ads also rode for Shorty's.
