Old Black Arm follows in the footsteps of Phil Shao and goes to the top shelf at Fort Miley. I don't get fly out tricks at all. They don't seem physically possible to me, but then again I'm not very athletic and getting on in years.
This Thirteen model looks slightly similar to Eric Koston's first shoe on éS.

Fly outs are fun on transition. All you need is speed, let your back wheels bonk off the coping and be sure to lean forward. It's really fun on mini ramp to fly out to tail or to truck, and hop back in without grabbing. My faves were to back tail, and to FS 5-0.
I forgot he rode for Vans, as I always associated him with Puma.

Yeah, I don't have that amount of dexterity. This one guy I skated with would do fly-outs to footplant from the mini ramp to the wall and then back in. They were super sick to see.
I almost thought he was on Puma's first skate team, but he went to them after Vans.
