Merry Christmas.
Life's A Beach expanded from being a clothing company to a board company in 1988. The first two pros were Jeff Phillips and Monty Nolder. I always liked that black board Jeff is riding. Nice and minimal. It's also got a huge nose for the time.
The photos are by Grant Brittain.

I rode the Jeff Phillips street model. It was one of my favorite boards, big nose for the time, great concave, good shape.
I rode the vert Phillips board. Bought it because of the big nose. Not sure if it was because it was a vert board but it was terrible on the streets. I never clicked with it and sold it to a kid at school after a week.
