Clawz.
There was a mention of Clawz while I was in the process of organizing Gimmick Week. I initially thought about including the wrist guards with that, but after looking more closely at their ads, I decided Clawz were too bad ass to lump in with all that crap. The team featured Thrasher art associate Ken McGuire, Jim Murphy, Lonnie Hiramoto, and a couple others.

I had a pair of these back in '88/'89 and you're right, they are/were too badass to include with gimmick week. I'd wear 'em today if they still existed. Maybe Polar will make a pair since Pontus Alv is all about the fingerless gloves.
