Eric "Tuma" Britton.

Let's get this thing rolling again.

Eric was pro for Santa Monica Airlines. He was also on Dogtown. Tuma got shoes from Vision Street Wear, too. He had the cover of Thrasher in February of 1992 doing a nose grind down a handrail. It looks like he is still skating today and doing Roll Model Skate, which teaches kids how to skateboard.

I picked out two weeks worth of stuff from 1991. I had a couple things I wanted that didn't quite fit in with what I was posting in December so I decided to use them now before heading into a look back at 2010 for February.

The photos are by Cesario "Block" Montano.

Good one. I never knew he was pro for SMA. If you get the cover of Thrasher you're legit.

I didn't realize he was pro either, but I found a pic of his board. There's a Vision shoe ad where he is wearing the same clothes as this ad so he had a productive day way back when. Tuma was a little younger than I thought, too. He scored a good cover.

I used to always see this dude around Venice. Friendly guy... always ripped too. I used to know him a little bit just from being around Venice so much in the mid to late 90's and I knew he was pro for sma way back but I never really knew what happened to him. Seems he disappeared from mainstream sponsors, etc. right after that cover but he was definitely ripping at a high level way after that. Skated tranny real well.
