Jeff Pang #4.
Electricity at the banks.
Jeff was working as an electrician and had been taking a break from skateboarding when Andy Howell asked if he wanted to ride for Underworld Element. Luckily for us Jeff stuck with skateboarding and would go onto be part of Zoo York. He first got into skating on a vert ramp in Brooklyn and later moved onto the streets of Manhattan. Some of his favorite pros in the early 90s were Rob Dyrdek, Henry Sanchez, Mark Gonzales, Julien Stranger, and Rick Ibaseta.
This almost didn't happen today. We got 18" of snow last night and I had the day off from work. The roads are clear now, but there has been a lot of storm damage to trees and power lines. I toughed out about ten minutes of lunch break skateboarding yesterday before the storm hit. It's going to take some time before the park is once again snow free.
Dimitry Elyaskevich took the photo. The design is by Eli Morgan Gesner.
