I enjoy watching the ramp clips Auby releases. He's put in the time and effort to learn proper vertical skateboarding from the 1980s.
One thing I noticed when getting together this batch of scans is how so many companies aren't running print ads any longer. You get kind of used to seeing stuff and then you realize you only saw it online compared to how it was in previous years. It's cool that some of the distributors are running ads for smaller companies that might not have the budget for print so they can get a little exposure outside of social media circles.

Truth is stranger than fiction. What I mean is, in the 1990s I would never have imagined that vert would make a comeback, and 1980s style vert skating would be a thing.
And not just an approximation of 80s vert, but with the attention to exact detail in how Auby's doing it.
