I had the board he is riding in the photo. It was the first slick I ever had. It's a little hard to tell from the photo what the graphics are, but it is a slightly futuristic scene of a guy with a gun in a city. I learned pressure flips on that board.

Schmitt and New Deal always had great wood and shapes. Quality was never an issue unlike most board co.'s
The board lasted a long time even with pressure flip damage. I think it was a little small, but that wasn't too big a deal.
Always think of him as mainly skating that safeway curb. cool to see a diesel ollie
