Natas Kaupas #2.

Brave Captain.

According to the new Transworld Buyer's Guide, Santa Cruz has a Rob Roskopp deck in production again. They are also making sweatpants, too. Yup, sweatpants. That's kind of gross.

In other 1980s skateboard news, Mike Vallely is back on Powell. Third time's a charm, right?

There's some sweet footage of Mike V. skating the old Revere School banks the Dogtown boys used to ride on his website. He's riding is old elephant shape re-issue. Good stuff...

I have this picture hanging on my bedroom wall! haha. I found a bunch of 80's Transworlds for 50 cents a pop at a local Boston record store. SCORE!

Mike V is a jock douche. Granted, he was very influential during the 80's and has contributed a lot to skateboarding during his career. But lately, with all his hockey fights, beating up spectators in the crowd, and fake DIY or Die bullshit, he has lost all credibility. Little kids might be into him, but I think the rest of the skate community is completely over him.

WTF, is one guy on the internet going around with different names posting how much he hates Mike V or something? So annoying....anyways...love the Nata Ad, I wonder if I still have my old stack of Trasher's and Transworld's from the late 80s at my parents house...
