Matt Schnurr.

You've probably read his name on Crailtap and wondered who he was. Matt really was pro for Planet Earth back in the day.

What kind of car is that?

I know crap about cars, but I think I've ridden in something kind of like that or a friend had one. My uneducated guess is a Volkswagen. Probably early 80s, maybe 79.

I was going to say Dodge Omni, but that isn't right.

Volkswagen is wrong.I guess it's something asian.

Thanks for the post. I've been trying to find my old adds. Do you have the one with the
switch BS 180 heel 5-0 180 out??? If you find it. Please send it to me.

i think it's a yugo.

Matt - I'll look around. I probably do.

A quick Google image search suggests that it could be a Yugo. The window shape and gas tank location match, which wasn't exactly happening with a Volkswagen.

Schnurr is a giant! I used to think Rick Howard was tall and skated with a tall-guy style. The first time I saw him, Schnurr was there as well and that dude makes everyone look small. His PE double part was sick!

It's always wesome when the former pros check in and show they are still around. As far as that lil car goes, I would guess perhaps a Dodge Colt, if I recall correctly, that was one pretty crappy little piece of machinery---or if not, the Yugo could be on point as well---I used to call Yugo's "The Disposable car---drive it 20,000 miles, then just throw it away!"

awesome was my third word there---damn those pesky typos!

The ad Schnurr is looking for was for Planet Earth and was a video grab sequence down a ledge at the Tracker facility (I think that's where it was done). My best guess would be the '93 - '95 years of Transworld.

Schnurr had some sick lines at Chaffey in 411.

It was in Transworld a couple months after this ad ran. It was a video grab sequence of the trick at the Tracker ramps. I found it fairly easily and emailed it to Matt. He was stoked.
