As much as I like the Consolidated Creepy Club ad, I never really noticed at the time almost all of their ads are poking fun of other companies. The Santa Cruz dig is lame. The cereal box wheels they did were creative, goofy and fun. Also Karma should have gotten on a different company at some point in his career. I would here stories about how he was going to be the next big pro for years and years. He was one of the best and not many people even know who he is. I skated with Karma, Cardiel, and Wade when they all rode for Dogtown back in 1991. Out of those guys Karma was the one that blew everyone away. The guy should have a shoe out and a board out forever. There are so many other pros that are milking it to this day. Sorry for the rant. Take care.

It's all good. You make some valid points and have me rethinking Consolidated a little.

A few of their jabs were funny and not much different than skaters talking crap on silly things. Yes, wheels in a cereal box are creative and goofy. It's also a little stupid, too.

I think that Karma and A.P. stuck with the company so long means they were OK with a lot of the political mumbo jumbo that went into the ads. I'm sure they probably had offers over the years to ride for other companies.

one thing that always stands out to me is the irony of the "don't do it" from consolidated while AP rode for puma. And also Consolidated OG Jason Jessee now rides for converse(nike owned) and nobody says shit.....
