Alphonzo Rawls #5.

1980s Toyota knockoff.

Natural fizzled out in the second half of 1995. Around this time, Select was starting to push a company called Shuvit and relaunching Vision Street Wear. I think they even brought back Vision, too. Alf and Jimmy Chadwick split for Tree Fort. Jason Rogers would soon go on to start Arcade. Bucky Lasek put in a pitstop at the New Deal before heading over to Birdhouse. Natural did make a video called Sore Losers in 1995 that does appear to be on the YouTube.

Up next is a batch of mid-1990s vert skaters.

Wasn't Shuvit a company that just produced blanks? I remember blanks were blamed as to why pros weren't making as much on board royalties.

Thanks for digging up all the Natural stuff.

You’re welcome. This was a good request since I’d never posted any of their stuff before.

I want to say Shuvit had graphics, but that they weren’t very good graphics. You can still order the boards on the Select/Vision website. They probably did the price point sale thing to shops so pros were mad. It looks like Vision switched them over to being a clothing company.

I’m getting together a new batch of 1995/96 scans and I’m going to make a note of the addresses to determine where all these companies came from.
