Kien "Donger" Lieu #3.

Big air in front of the crew.

Pacific Drive is a skateboard shop in San Diego. They are still in business today. I picked them for the week because I like the design of their ads. They always had good photos that were balanced with just enough retail information to keep it interesting without resorting to a list of products.

The jump ramp sadly didn't make the photo.

The photo is by Paul "Skin" Phillips.

always loved this dude. i never met him or anything, but his style was so ill. there are a few skaters who were so uniquely rad in history and donger ranks up there. paulo diaz is another.

The sequence of the kf over the hydrant across the road blew me away when I first saw that. Wanted to but his Maple board after that but it was a funny shape and width. Would probably ride it now though.

Totally. He's one of those guys who always did his own thing that you appreciate much more now. Donger is still skating today and blasting big ollies over stuff.
