This is one of my favorite pictures of Julien. He had been on Underworld Element before finally joining up with the Real squad. Two years later he would be heading up a new company out of DLX called Anti-Hero. The Salman Agah stripes board also happens to be one of my favorite graphics.

I saw they are making Simples again (still?)... wonder if they’re any good.
There was a recent Simple website that chronicled the history of skateboard footwear, but the link doesn't appear to work any longer. It's in the column of links to the right. They got in contact with me about something in the last few years. I have no idea on the quality of the shoes.
