Yuto is from Koto City, Japan. He rode for Blind up until Shane O'Neill offered him a spot on his April Skateboards in 2019. They had to buy out his contract from Blind so he could make the team switch. Yuto won gold in street skateboarding at the Olympics this past summer in Tokyo. From a recent Thrasher interview, we learned that he likes sushi and his dad skateboards. Yuto said his dad could do nollie kickflips and they used to watch classic 1990s videos together.
