Rick Howard #3.

I thought this ad was neat. A couple of my friends from back around this time actually didn't like Rick. Dumbasses.

Apparently I can't tell the difference between a heelflip and a kickflip anymore.

Steve Sherman shot the Rick Flip
and Grant Brittain took the portrait.

It's not a frontside half cab kickflip.

It is a Rick Flip. (frontside half cab heelflip bigspin)

Just a heads up.

I was wondering about that.

With five frames to go with, it is hard to tell exactly what is going on. Frame 3 is the only one that suggests that something extra is happening with the board.

Now that I'm looking at the photo again, how the fuck did I mess up my heelflips and kickflips?

yeah! Rick flip. So good. After I first saw him do it, I immediately went out to try and learn it. I think I've landed maybe 2 in my whole life.

The Battle of the Berrics was pretty amazing how all those guys in the final four could do nollie and fakie big spin flip variations first try.

My body doesn't even work in a way that would let me try a Rick Flip.

Every spring I tell myself I should put in the time to learn nollie backside kickflips since I can do the two tricks that go into them. I end up trying and it never works out. Maybe this spring.
