Frank Gerwer #2.

More Frank than blank.

I think Gerwer would have been riding for the Firm at this time. If he wasn't, he would be soon.

I never got into the idea of cored wheels. Just give me a solid piece of urethane. It's the same as a plain wooden board. Keep it simple.

Core wheels are just another gimmick. Not only that, I've had friends ride core wheels and the cores have come out of wheels, bearings and all. I don't like gimmicks whether it be fancy designed trucks, core wheels, high ABEC ratings, or new-fangled laminate compositions.

First cored wheels I ever saw were some Schmitt radials or something like that. They had metal cores. A kid in my hood had them and I did a powerslide and the wheel shot out. Brutal!

To me, wheels are wheels. I'll ride Bones 100's or whatever is cheap. Not very picky.

Nice Brian Eno reference!

I have to agree with Rikku and Keith. Core wheels were a bad idea. Easily on par with boneite.

The plastic cored ones just seem like they would break so easily. Yet I see kids riding them.

Schmitt Stix SS Radials were gnarly. My friend had a set. They were way too hard for street skating.
