Natas Kaupas #6.

Natas flies frontside in his pro model sneaker, which was one of the first items of signature footwear for a professional skateboarder. It seems hard to imagine a world without pros having footwear named after them these days.

I can live with it.

My friend Chris had those and I thought they were the ugliest things ever, but compared to the Osiris and Es Schemes of later years they're really subdued.

Red and black can be a tough sell. The combo works, but I'm not a huge fan of it. It seems like the early Etnies were really stiff, like even worse than breaking in a new pair of Airwalks.

Agree, it doesn't look that rad, but function over fashion. It isn't a signature show for nothing.
