Zoo Yorker and Emerican. After watching the Brandon Westgate Epicly Later'd, I was in the mood for some 5 Boro type of stuff and I found this picture of Aaron Suski. His part in This Is Skateboarding is so good. Ditto for Stay Gold. He's riding a New Deal Carl Shipman deck with the matching shirt. Check out the big Nice Skate Shoes sticker.

Just the other day I saw a pair of NSS shoes (redundant?) at K-Mart for a $15. They are a knockoff of Vans' Era model.

The NSS sticker was almost a deal breaker on scanning this. They did sponsor a lot of the hot new ams coming out of NYC and all points east. My friend had a pair of Nice shoes and he was into them for what they were. The name doesn't work for me at all.
Happy Rapture, and three years of solid content as well. I hope you start scanning all the ridiculous ads at the back of Thrasher and other magazines printed through the years and completely tear them to shreds. No offense to Thrasher, we all have to make money. And if the ad is pathetic, it'll get laughed at and ignored anyways.
